Join us to learn all about the small but hard working honey bee! We will take a look into their biology, fascinating behaviors, and how and why the honey we use for so many applications is created. Ever wonder about the practice of beekeeping? Meet a bee keeper who takes care of our own hives here at the zoo. Our Zoo Keepers will give you an in-depth look at the social dynamics of the hive and the relationship bees have with elephants-an important conservation effort in the wild.

• Rosamond Gifford Zoo Members receive a special member discount.  
• Member level tickets are non-transferable. The member’s name must be on all tickets purchased, and the member must be present with a valid Rosamond Gifford Zoo membership card and identification at entry.
