EcosySTEM Explorers: Perfectly Prolific Pollinators (ages 6-8)
Did you know that about 1 out of every 3 bites of food exists because of pollination? Or that honeybees dance to communicate during the process? Discover all the different pollinators and why conservation efforts are needed for our own survival! Explore how our zoo supports pollination in this buzzworthy STEM-based investigation.
Saturday, June 11th
10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon (ages 6-8)
Tuition per session:
Member-$20 per child/ Non-member- $25 per child
Additional Child- $15
NOTE: You will check in with the educator in the lobby upon arrival. Ticket includes admission to the zoo after class. Social distancing will be enforced. Limited to 12 pairs. This program requires drop off.
Cancelation/ Refund Policy: All education programs will run as scheduled unless the zoo has been closed by order of Onondaga County administration. No refunds or rain checks will be given for 'no-shows' for any reason. If the zoo cancels the education program due to lack of enrollment or severe weather, a full refund or program credit will be given. If you must cancel for any reason, your registration fee is nonrefundable unless a person on the waiting list can fill the space. In the event the cancelled slot is filled, a 25% processing fee will be deducted from your refund. If there is no waiting list for the program you are cancelling, no refund will be issued.
